Plants and Vessels

I don’t know where or how I spotted Pang Xunqin’s Vase of Chrysanthemums (1974), but I have for some reason been eyeing how to use it in a collage it ever since. Finally, a few days ago, I found what I thought was a suitable companion in Lebanese artist Huguette Caland’s Undercover Rossinante II (2012). I used a photo of a vessel, provenance unknown, to tie them together.
